Hello everyone
      My name is Darlene Darway, the owner and designer at Darway Home based in Fairmont, WV.  I'm a NKBA certified kitchen designer with over 25 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry and hold degrees in graphic and interior design from West Virginia University.
      This experience, along with a strong sense of color and killer space planning skills has led me to create Darway Home, a design firm offering kitchen and bath design services as well as color consultation, interior design and interior redesign .
      I cut my teeth in a big box store, but moved on to showrooms designing and selling custom cabinetry, tile, countertops and all the elements that go into kitchen and bath projects. Unlike many designers, I have designed and sold over ten brands of cabinetry, from stock to semi-custom to true custom. This gives me an advantage because I am familiar with all the limitations and possibilities.
      As an independent designer, not a salesperson, I am not tied to a particular showroom or manufacturer. This allows you to benefit from my experience but be able to purchase products wherever you prefer. I will design based on your preferred choices.
